Comments:  I know how proud I am to be a Hindu. The older I get the more Hindu I want to become. Only lately have I gotten into Yoga and Ayurveda and it has made me sad that I never knew about these areas when I was in India. Strangely, my adventures into Yogamake me come across more Westerners than Indians. My only hope is that India will act up on some of the wisdom that you site here. Indians don't walk the talk and hence give a very conflicting message to our kids who is torn between two cultures.

Comments:  (part 3 - final) Did you know there is a strong ancient Jewish tradition that patriarch Abraham founded a college to study the ways of God and how to live a good life and that he sent scholars to the East to spread these teachings. It is possible that the similarity between names in Hindu and Jewish tradition arose in this way. By the way, Sarah was Abraham's neice, daughter of his brother who died prematurely. Best wishes

Comments:  (part 2) I will mention a few of the things Jews and Hindus have in common and why we should be proud of our heritage. We both believe in a Supreme Being but emphasise how to live a good life in this world. We are tolerant of religions of other people and do not try to forcibly convert them to our beliefs. We have strong attachments to our ancestral homelands. Independence and freedom for Israel and India followed the end of WW2 after suffering centuries of invasions and occupation. Our diasporas are spread across the world. In the countries we have lived in we have been law-abiding citizens, playing an active part in all walks of society, business, medicine, science, law, politics, etc.

Comments:  Very informative site, keep up the good work. Would be useful if you include a chronology on Hindu history. I am a Jew and my family fled a difficult life in Bagdhad Iraq to live in Calcutta where they stayed for two generations. They left India in the 1950s to emigrate to Israel, United States and Great Britian. My parents told me many times of the peaceful and pleasant life they had in India and how Indians and Jews lived in harmony side by side. Here in London we have excellent relations with Indians. I have also visted India myself many times on vacation and for business. I will mention a few of the things Jews and Hindus have in common and why we should be proud of our heritage. We both believe in a Supreme Being but emphasise ho
