Abrahamic Super Caste System
Chosen and Non-Chosen People (Heathens/Pagans and Infidels)

From the pulpit of Calvary Baptist Church, the Reverend W. L. Pettingill said this in 1923:

"Only those who believe in Christ as God, in His Virgin Birth and in His Resurrection in the body-the irreducible minimum of the Christian faith-will go to heaven. Those who deny any or all of these tenets will be lost-they will go to hell" ... "We have got to smoke them out," cried the reverend.

Jews, derived from the seed of Abraham, are considered the 'Chosen People.'  In Christianity, The Believing Christians are superior to Pagans. This supercaste system of Christianity does not leave us pagan humans even after we die, because we 'Pagans or Heathens' are condemned to everlasting Hell, while Christians go to everlasting Heaven. Modern Christian sects are also like 'spiritual' castes, with each sect consigning members of the other sect to Hell. Thus, the Baptists would like Mormons to plunge into everlasting Hell-Fire and vice versa. In many Christian countries, you cannot be the President, and have unequal inheritance rights etc., if you are not a Christian. In countries like Italy and Russia, Hinduism is not even recognized officially as a religion!

Islam "This 'egalitarian' faith divides mankind into 4 castes: 1. Momins, or believing Muslims who have the Divine Right from al-Llah, to own all land, to have special rights over Infidels (Kafirs). The testimony of Kafirs is worth only 1/2 that of Momins. Only Momins can go to Heaven. Thus, both the spiritual and the mundane domain are the fief of the Momins alone. Kafirs either pay the Jaziya tax to practice their religion (albeit still under severe disabilities) or are condemned to death.

Texas Governor Rick Perry believes non-Christians doomed

"If you live your life and don't confess your sins to God almighty through the authority of Christ and his blood, I'm going to say this very plainly, you're going straight to hell with a nonstop ticket," Rev.John Hagee (founder and Pastor of Cornerstone Church) said during a service interspersed with religious and patriotic videos.

Asked afterward at a political rally whether he agreed with Mr. Hagee, the Governor said he didn't hear anything that he would take exception to. He said that he believes in the inerrancy of the Bible and that those who don't accept Jesus as their savior will go to hell.

(Note:  Following this line of logic, Moses, Jesus's father and grandfather, Gautam Buddha, Mahatma Gandhi, Zoroaster, Mahavir, and others are in hell?). Refer to Christian persecution against the Hellenes - ethnicoi.org.

Abrahamic Monopoly over God ? To some, God is private property

Christians, Jews and Muslims claim to "own" God (though not all members of these religions make this claim). Native Americans, though, seem not to have this sense of ownership of God and the earth. Rather, they tend to feel "owned" by God, even as they "owe" the earth for their existence. Two widely divergent worldviews.

If religion turns some men into beasts, what have we done to prevent these beasts from usurping the power of the State to promote their dire objectives? Very little. For about fifteen hundred years, these ‘beasts’ kept Europe in darkness. Thanks to Christian dogmatism, it was a felony for a professed Christian to question the tenets of his faith. The Reformation, the Renaissance and the Age of Reason finally broke the spell of religion in Europe. “Thou shalt not kill,” commands the Old Testament. With what result? Christians killed the Pagans. And the Muslims killed the kafirs. All through history, the most ‘sanctified’ form of murder has been of those who refused to convert.  “What has degraded religion to a theatre of cruelty and barbarity,” says Valson Thampu, an Indian Christan leader, “is the ownership mentality of the devotees vis-a-vis their respective gods. Yet the truth is that a God owned exclusively by a segment of the human species is no God,” he asserts.

"People who think of God as a warrior may become warriors themselves, whether in a Christian crusade, a Muslim jihad, or an apocalyptically oriented militia. People who think of God as righteous are likely to emphasize righteousness themselves, just as those who think of God as compassionate are likely to emphasize compassion. People who think God is angry at the world are likely to be angry at the world themselves." - says Author Marcus Borg, The God We Never Knew.

In his book, Perennial philosophy - Aldous Huxley indeed gives due respect to Hinduism, Buddhism and Taoism stating clearly that History centric religions indeed are driven by conquest mentality and hence potential for violence exists all the time because of " Market share" and conversion mentality.

Untouchability and Racism

Yes, untouchability is a major social evil in India. But why does the blame for it get laid at the feet of Hinduism, when Christianity is not blamed for racism in other countries? Anti-Semitism, which is still a major problem in Christian countries, is a result of the belief by Christians that Jews were responsible for the death of Jesus. Racial hatred of black people has its basis in religion, for the black Africans are regarded the offspring of the cursed Ham, son of Noah, a story recounted in the Old Testament of the Christian Bible. The story of the curse was freely used by Christian ministers and priests to justify slavery right up to the 19th century and is still used today by America’s white supremacists.

Why, then, is untouchability, which isn’t even supported by our scriptures in the way it exists today, a “fault” of Hinduism, while racism and anti-Semitism are not the “fault” of Christianity? Hate crimes are such a problem in the West that hate-crime legislation has had to be implemented in the last several decades in several countries, including the US and UK, to deal with it by adding additional penalties to any crime committed with racial hatred as a factor.

Refer to Racism's Biblical basis - Protestant churches in the southern U.S. once preached that slavery was sanctioned by God Interracial marriage was a crime in South Carolina as late as 1998 when the state repealed its anti-miscegenation law. Although the repeal was supported by a majority of voters in a referendum, almost 40 per cent opposed it. Among them was a Republican state representative who argued interracial marriage was "not what God intended when he separated the races back in Babylonian days." His stance, he acknowledged, probably stemmed from his Southern Baptist upbringing.
